Biography:
As part of his honour's degree at Edinburgh College of Art in 1999, Adrian wrote and directed his first film Who's My Favourite Girl?
It went on to win a raft of international awards including the 1999/2000 BAFTA for Best Short Film; the first time a student film had been awarded the national accolade.
In 2001 he graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a Masters Degree in Visual Communication and soon afterwards established the screenwriting company Imagine Pictures with Fox Searchlight award winning filmmaker Joern Utkilen (MY JOB, 2, 3).
Since then, Adrian has continued to write and direct numerous short films including the Cineworks commissioned The Toon Fair.
In 2003 he directed Wise Guys, which premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival as part of the BBC's prestigious Tartan Shorts Scheme and was nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for Best Screenplay.
In 2007 Adrian directed "Myself Only More So" - a short film pilot for BBC Scotland as part of the Wee Gems strand. He also has a feature film in development ; The Nana Saga and is currently creating a cop series entitled The Department for SMG.
Since February this year Adrian has been collaborating with Finlay Pretsell of the Scottish Documentary Institute on a series of alternative sports documentaries.
