Biography:
Jamie Stone (22) is a 4th year Film + TV student at the Edinburgh College of Art. In his short career so far, he has enjoyed enormous success.
His work, both as a fiction director and animator, has been exhibited at the EIFF, with Fritz in 2006 and Two Dreams in 2007.
Both shorts went on to be exhibited at festivals around the world, including Berlin's Brittspotting Festival and Barcelona's Children's Film Festival. Both received nominations for Scottish BAFTAs and Two Dreams recently won a Royal Television Society Award.
Hi 60 second short ‘At the Beach With Dad' was also nominated for a national BAFTA and was broadcast on the BBC in March 2008. Jamie's most recent work has been a series of 4 short films commissioned by Channel 4 titled ‘The World According to...' These were broadcast on channel 4 between the 7-10 of April 2008.
