Biography:
Roxana Pope is a British Iranian writer, director and actor. Recent film work includes co-writing the feature film ‘Trouble sleeping' (Scottish Screen/BBC) about the lives of refugees in Edinburgh.
The short film ‘Leila' she wrote about the life of Iranian asylum seekers in Scotland has been shown in film festivals world wide and was selected as top ten UK Film Council digital shorts.
She is currently developing her next documentary ‘Mama Zar' to be shot in southern Iran, November 2007.
