Biography:
Saleyha is a trained doctor and has worked for BBC Radio (Current Affairs, Women's Hour) and Channel 4 News as researcher, reporter and assistant producer.
She attended the 2006 Fast Track Media Guardian International Television Festival Edinburgh. Her first documentary: Article 17-Doctors in Palestine was screened at Raindance and distributed by the British Council.
My Mother's Daughter is her first commissioned short documentary for cinema.
